Nomad Richmond Street West Officially Closed

After 7 great years at our Richmond Street location, we will be closing our doors as of January 2012. Our Queen Street location will continue to operate as our flagship store and we look forward to serving our valued customers at our new home. We’ve had a lot of great memories & made a gang of great friends. We’d like to thank everyone for their support throughout the years and we hope to see you soon!

As hectic as NYC was we got a chance to join our friends at Nepenthes NYC & Thomas Hooper for the opening reception of Origins of Solitude. Nepenthes NYC was packed full of local NYC industry heads & international buyers from around the globe. It was cool to see all the “birds of a feather” flock together. We are excited to say we ended up buying the three pieces seen here and stoked to have them in the shop after the exhibition closes at Nepenthes NYC.

The Paulrose Products label is a Canadian made workwear company that was established by Paul & Rose Svarc in Montreal, Quebec in the 1960’s. The name may sound familiar to you because the label’s founders Paul & Rose Svarc are the grandparents of none other than Brandon Svarc of Naked & Famous Denim fame. Paul Svarc recently passed away & when searching Paul’s office for mementos of his grandfather, Brandon happened upon the brass die that was used for Paulrose Products in the past. Abandoned by his grandfather for more lucrative options at the time, Paulrose Products has been re-launched by Brandon in memory of his grandfather.
